"After searching high and low for the right breeder we came across Moel Famau Cockers which is where we met Darren and Amanda. As we were buying our first puppy we were both quite nervous and apprehensive. Darren and Amanda immediately made us feel at ease offering us fantastic support and useful advice. We are the proud owners of Oscar who is a real character. A very obedient and intelligent cocker spaniel who we couldn't imagine being without."

"We came to Darren after finding him on the internet. Our pet springer Taz would run away when we were out on walks. Some days I would be late for work trying to find him. Darren trained Taz for 3 weeks and then I suppose you can say he then re-trained me too. Taz is brilliant now and if I spot any signs of him wondering Darren gave me tips on how to keep him with me. Thank you, now walks with Taz are a pleasure."

"I was given Moel Famau cockers number by a friend. I had tried to have my Cocker bitch mated two days before I visited them but the previous dog was inexperienced. Amanda and Darren made me welcome in their home whilst Molly was made welcome by their stud dog Sonny. Needless to say we now have a litter of 8 healthy puppies and thank Amanda and Darren with their patience with me and Molly. Thank you to you all."

"We first met Darren 3 years ago when me and my husband took a keen interest in working our cockers on our local shoot. Due to be new in working our cocker spaniels we had very little knowledge on how to train our dogs. After spending time with Darren on his training ground we soon took to our training schedule and boy did it pay off. We always get comments on how our good our dogs perform on the shoot and we also have a lovely little cocker bitch bred by Darren, who is in her first stages of training. "

"After hearing about Moel Famau Cockers I telephone them to see if they had any puppies for sale. I spoke to Amanda and eagerly waited until their next litter of puppies was due in May 2008. Amanda and Darren kept me updated on the puppies progress until finally , excitedly I was able to view my new puppy. She was a small, gold cocker spaniel that I named Rose. Amanda emailed pictures of her progress regularly from playing with her siblings to weaning onto food. Finally the day arrived when I could take her home. Rose was raised in a loving environment and extremely well looked after. Rose is now an extremely friendly, bold girl who continues to be much loved."

"A massive congratulations to Darren Skidmore for breeding this years Cocker Champion, Moel Famau Mini. I spoke to Darren earlier and congratulated him on his excellent dogs. Darren breeds and trains some outstanding dogs and I for one will be putting my name down on a pup from him in the future if there are any left."

" I just thought to give you some news. Fanny is doing so well - I think she is the most wonderful pup I have ever had. She is just so easy. No fuss about being in the kennel (only a few hours a day). I only showed her twice not to run in the potatoes and sit and wait with the other dogs and now she can sit for quite a long time. She loves to explore the wilderness of the garden and runs happy in brambles and other horrid stuff that my other cocker hates. Her tail newer seems to stop wagging - she is just so happy. I will send you some photos when she gets a bit bigger. Thanks for letting me have such a wonderful dog."
